Trinity Seely

Trinity Seely’s life has taken her to many different places. Ranging from the cattle country of British Columbia Canada, to the beautiful Ojai Valley of California.  To the magestic peaks of the wasatch front of Utah, and finally to the high desert plains of Wyoming where a vast sea of sagebrush and granite peaks have stolen her heart.  Each of the places that she has called home has embedded in her a deep love for the Cowboy, Western, and Buckaroo lifestyle. She currently resides at Martin’s Cove, Wyoming where she and her family live and work on the Handcart Ranch.

Trinity Seely

“Her style of music is a blend of Western, Folk and traditional Country, her voice and songs are reminiscent of the timeless Suzy Boggus, especially in “A Cowboy Song”-Jennifer Denison

Trinity’s personal look into the life of a ranch wife gives her a deep perspective and appreciation into a lifestyle that some say is a bygone era. Trinity released her debut album back in December of 2011. Produced by fellow western artist, Brenn Hill and Ryan Tilby. Trinity’s self titled CD has received multiple outstanding reviews. These reviews include write ups in the Western Horseman, Ranch and Reata, Cowgirls in Style, Working Ranch Magazine and True West. She was named one of True West’s favorite western artist for 2012. She has received nominations for the Crescendo Award with the Western Music Association for 2012 and 2013. Female western singer and western album of the year with the Academy of Western Artists in 2012.

Trinity Shares with us in “He Rides for the Brand” what it is about the cowboy life that gets us by the heartstrings so we never want to leave. And as one of her fans stated, “A lot of people sing from the heart, Trinity sings With her heart.”

Press Release

Western Music Association’s Top Artists Come Together
for One Night in January

First-ever event kicking off Western Music and Songwriters’ Series in Tooele, Utah to keep the cowboy lifestyle alive by benefiting the Little Buckaroos Rodeo Association

SALT LAKE CITY, Jan. 2, 2014 —The Western Music and Songwriters Series is bringing together for the first time, three of the Western Music Association’s top performing singers and songwriters on January 18, 2014, to perform at the Deseret Peak Complex Convention Center in Tooele, Utah, from 6:30 – 8:30 pm.  A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Little Buckaroos Rodeo Association, a non-profit dedicated to keeping the love of rodeo alive.

The evening’s line up will include WMA’s Album of the Year and Female Vocalist Nominee, Trinity Seely, of Martin’s Cove, Wyoming; Academy of Western Artist’s Top Male Vocalist in 2009, Daron Little, who cowboys for a living fulltime on the Headquarters Division of the Silver Spur Ranches near Encampment, Wyoming; two-time Male Vocalist Nominee JC Needham and Sonja of Utah’s Western Desert, who make up The Buckaroo Balladeers; and special guest, ten-year-old cowboy poet, Thatch Elmer, son of cowboy poet, Brad Elmer and wife, Kim. Thatch started out reciting his dad’s poems and now writes and recites his own.

“I believe that the American cowboy is an international symbol of independence and grit, and our music reflects this,” stated Daron Little.  “The music that I perform and the songs that I write are from experiences and memories of folks I have known from cowboying over the last 20 years.”

Trinity Seeley added, “The Western Music and Song Writer Series is a wonderful event that will give the audience a chance to take a closer look at the performers and an inside look into their music and poetry. It’s all about sharing a piece of the soul and sharing a little bit of the lifestyle that my family and I live and love.”

The event was inspired by a cowboy poet, Tyler Guy, who helps run a family ranch in Grantsville, Utah. He felt there was a need and an audience for a show that brought western music and poetry together in an intimate setting. Guy, who lives with his wife Sylvia in Tooele, will emcee the event and share some of his poetry. “Over the years of being involved in many cowboy gatherings across the Mid-West as a cowboy poet, it was the pure forms of talent that seem to draw people in, whether it be poetry or just an acoustic setting of music, they just really hit home with a lot of folks,” stated Guy. “The Western Music and Songwriters Series was designed to capture and preserve the heritage in that close setting.”

To purchase tickets or for further information about the performers, visit www.westernsong.net.  Proceeds from the event will benefit the Little Buckaroos Rodeo Association, which teaches young people the correct and safe way to rodeo, promotes good sportsmanship and gives participants a fun and safe environment to learn and practice their rodeo skills.
